Deadline for French Cast: May 18

Paris - France coach Raymond Domenech gave a deadline date of May 18 for the French players who want to compete in the World Cup in 2010. Until that day when one is not fit, get ready to be left.

A week earlier, on May 11, Domenech will announce the first 23 players chosen. After that, they would all be trained for a week in Tignes, the town at the foot of the Alps Mountain.

"It is clear that players who are not in condition to play on May 18 will not be going to the World Cup," said Domenech told L'Equipe quoted by Reuters.

"I'm not going to ask them to play, I just ask them to play and get ready," added the architect of the team's birth 58 years ago.

Domenech seems to take a lesson from the situation in the European Cup in 2008, where when he was captain Patrick Vieira was forced into the squad but he still could not play because of injury.

Domenech may be a hammer Statement final verdict for William Gallas. Arsenal defender was almost certainly not going to play in South Africa because he is injured muscles and difficult to recover in time.
